Anne Pochciol

Anne M. Pochciol, beloved wife, mother, and cherished member of the community, passed away on February 16, 2024. Born on September 19, 1943, to the late James and Marie Foster, Anne's life was a testament to love, kindness, and dedication to her family.

Gardening was not just a hobby for her; it was a form of art through which she nurtured and cultivated beauty around her.  She also loved baking and was very creative and crafty. She will be lovingly remembered for the way she expressed her love to all her family and friends through her kind words in cards and notes and the thoughtfulness and special personal touches she placed in choosing every gift she gave, making every recipient feel extra special.

Her legacy of love and family values will live on through her surviving family and friends, including her son Seth B. Pochciol; brother James (Mary Lou) Foster and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

 She was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul P. Pete” Pochciol. 

 The services to honor and celebrate Anne's life will be held at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church located at 342 W. Main Street, Ligonier on February 24, 2024. A Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM followed by a Mass from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.

 In lieu of flowers the family asks that any memorial donations go to missions, which was very close to Anne’s heart. Donations can be made to Ligonier Valley Meals on Wheels or the Food Bank.  

 Through her kindness and warmth, Anne touched the lives of many and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
