Boyd Lenhart

Boyd Charles Lenhart, 84, of Ligonier passed away peacefully at his home on September 29, 2025. An avid hunter and fisherman in his youth, he enjoyed spending time with his family in his later years. He was born January 28, 1941 to the late Jonathan H. and Viola (Kauffman) Lenhart. Prior to his retirement he had worked for Latrobe Construction for 22 years as a drillers's helper. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife of 49 years, Vonnie K (Brinker) Lenhart; three sisters, Sarah Ruth, Marie Rose and Edith Troy; and brothers Jonathan and Gilbert Lenhart. Boyd is survived by his son, David Lenhart (Elizabeth) of Ligonier, and daughter Kimberly Flick (Kenneth) of Hooversville; grandchildren, Ashley Klink, and Rebecca Flick (Ryan Kreninsky) of Hooversville, Michael Lenhart(Elizabeth) of Blairsville, and Sarah Lenhart (Evan Upole) of Derry; great grandchildren Benjamin and Samuel Kreninsky of Hooversville; brothers Albert Lenhart of Ligonier, Lonnie Lenhart (Donna) of Bolivar; sisters in law Carol Ann Lenhart of Ligonier and Gail Lenhart of Bolivar; along with numerous nieces and nephews. A private interment will be made in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Cook Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church Meals On Wheels 647 Bethel Church Rd. , Latrobe PA 15650.
