In Loving Memory of Carol Ann West Hager

Carol Ann Hager (West), a creative spirit with a heart full of love and laughter, passed away peacefully on September 15, leaving behind a legacy of beauty, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the daughter of the late John "Happy" and Margaret (Frisky) West.

A talented artist, Carol found joy in capturing the world's colors and emotions on canvas. Her love of nature was evident in every brushstroke and bloomed in her passion for flowers. She was also a skilled jewelry maker, creating pieces that reflected her vibrant personality and eye for detail. She loved sharing her passion for art with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carol's infectious laugh and warm presence were constants in the lives of those lucky enough to know her. She was deeply devoted to her family, and nothing brought her more joy than watching it grow through the generations. Her dining room table was always a special place for family gatherings and nights full of laughter.

She is preceded in death by her devoted husband Wendell E. Hager, and her sister Peggy West. She is survived by her loving children, Beth Wallace (John), Eric Sulkey and Lynn Parker (Lee); her dear sister, Barbara West; and her cherished grandchildren: Taylor Marple (Douglas), Jake Frederick (Taylor), Rachel Wallace (Luke), Tanner Sulkey, JD Wallace, McKenzie Simpson, Camille Wallace, Colby Frederick, and Mia Sulkey. Carol was also a proud great-grandmother to Elsie and Alice Marple, Theodore and Leif Frederick, Summer Simpson, and Ryker Honeycutt.

Carol's memory will live on in the family she nurtured, the art she created, and the laughter she shared so freely. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who loved her.

A celebration of Carol's life will be held September 24th, 10:30am at St. Raymonds of the Mountains in Donegal, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society (Cancer.org) or the Squirrel Refuge (squirrelrefuge.org) in memory of Carol West Hager.
