Connie L. Gross

Connie Lorraine Gross, age 74 of Poca, WV passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Born October 24, 1951 in Latrobe, she was one of nine children to the late Glenn and Dottie Queer.

Connie enjoyed traveling and camping and had a special love for riding motorcycles, especially during the 18 years she lived in Florida. She was a devoted and loyal wife, mother, and grandmother whose family meant the world to her. Strong-willed and never afraid to speak her mind, Connie stood her ground, lived life her way, and was loved for the strength and spirit that made her who she was.

Connie is survived by her beloved husband of over 55 years, Donald J. Gross; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Sarah Gross of Poca, WV; daughter, Brandy Kane of Woodbury, MN; grandchildren, Shannon, Mady, Autumn, and Wyatt; sisters, Mary Ida, Glenda, and Georgia; brother, David; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Keagan; and brothers, Daniel, Floyd, Earl, and Claire.

Visitation will be held on June 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM until memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM at Snyder-Green Funeral Home, located at 402 E Church St., Ligonier, PA 15658. Connie’s nephew, Matthew Gross, will officiate.
