Dean F. Lenhart

Dean Lenhart, 77, of Stahlstown died Friday, January 21 at Excela Health, Latrobe. He was born March 3, 1944 a son of the late Clarence and Emma Lenhart. He was self-employed with his loving wife until retirement. The owners of Lenhart Plumbing, Heating and Well Drilling, Inc. He enjoyed farming with his family and going on many wagon trains. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Clair and Carl Lenhart; and a brother-in-law, James Barlock. He is survived by his wife Ella (Keyser) Lenhart; daughter Christina (Lenhart) Cotchen and son-in-law Philip; grandson Isaac all of Stahlstown; his sister Nancy Barlock of Acme. His brother Roger Lenhart and wife Lenita of Ligonier; three sisters-in-laws Joyce of Latrobe, Nancy of Acme and Martha of Latrobe; and a number of nieces and nephews. A big thank you to Pastor Christine Doren, Dr. Gonzales, Dr. Govora, Lois and her hospice team for their true compassion and kindness. He loved his little church in the valley where he was a lifelong member. We are asking family and friends in lieu of flowers to make all memorial contributions to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 166, Stahlstown, PA 15687. A private visitation and service will be held by Snyder-Green Funeral Home Inc. (Please wear mask at the family’s request.) A joint celebration of life in honor of Dean and his brother, Clair will be held this summer at their homestead farm. A date to follow.
