Deborah Lee Hutchinson, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, just three days shy of her sixty-fourth birthday. Born in Greensburg Pa., on July 7, 1962 to the late James Joseph Emery Sr. and Nancy Lee Meyers Emery.
Deborah is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Timothy D. Hutchinson, who stood by her side with enduring love and partnership. Loving mother to her fur babies Laddie, Bandit, Angel, Rocky and Chippy. She also leaves behind her brothers, James Joseph Emery Jr. of Greensburg Pa., Edward Alan Emery of Greensburg Pa., and Ronald David (Serena) Emery of Jeannette Pa.; sisters-in-law, Betty Iscrupe of South Carolina and Alice Melville of Derry, along with her brother-in-law, William (Varene) Hutchinson of New Florence and many nieces and nephews.
Deborah devoted over 25 years of her professional life to Bethlen Home in Ligonier, Pa. Her commitment to her work and those she cared for at Bethlen Home left a lasting impact on colleagues, residents, and families alike.
Her personal passions were equally remarkable. Deborah found great joy in working with her dogs, pursuing agility training and competition. This love of animals was a source of happiness and fulfillment, reflecting her caring nature and her desire to nurture and connect, whether with people or with her beloved pets.
The family extends their special thanks to the staff at Bethlen Home and Latrobe Hospital, especially the team with Select Specialty, for their compassionate care and support during Deborah’s final days.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Snyder-Green Funeral Home, 402 E Church St., Ligonier, PA 15658, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service in her honor will take place at the same location on Thursday, July 9, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. a private family burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery
