Dolores Derk

Dolores L. Derk, 85 of Derry and Waterford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024. She was born on March 21, 1939 in Johnstown, PA to the late Edward and Mary (Petersen) Eisaman.

She was a member of the Brethren Church in Waterford. Prior to her retirement she was part owner of Derk's Restaurant and worked in the kitchen at Ligonier School District for 14 years.

Lori loved to bake, shop, crochet and make beautiful quilts.

In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, who passed away 8/26/2014, daughter Sue Kinsey and sisters, Evelyn Pritts, Genevieve Eppley, Margaret Boyer and brother-n-law, Ron Derk.

She is survived by children: Jim (Laurie), Keith (Marie) and son-in-law Kris Kinsey.

Grandchildren: Mike Hart (Ashley), Jennifer Knopsnyder (fiancé Bob), Jamie Price (Jeff), Joshua (Rhianna), Nichole Enberg (Riley), Alysa Davis (Adam). Great Grandchildren: Jaden Knopsnyder (fiancé Nick), Kaitlyn Knopsnyder, Mackenzie Rhoades, Brooke Rhoades, Connor, Evan and Sawyer Derk, Justine Price, Alton and Amelia Davis and great-great-grandchild: Waylon.
