Effie Alma Gail Fletcher

Fletcher - Effie Alma Gail Fletcher, 85, Fairfield Twp, went to be with the Lord on

July 25, 2026 at Concordia at Bethlen - PC. Born on October 26, 1940 in Ligonier,

daughter of Harry and Alma Miller. Preceded in death by her parents; husband,

Alfred W. Fletcher (Billie); sibling Mary E. Miller; son-in-law, Barry Barker. She

is survived by two adult children, David (Holly) Dillon, Acme, and Susan Barker,

Ligonier; grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, and Ryan. Gail was previously employed

by the Ligonier Valley School District in the cafeteria at Laurel Valley Ms/Hs, New

Florence. She enjoyed her cats, puzzle books, and waving at the school bus when it

went by her house. She always had an opinion and would let you know it whether

you wanted to hear it or not. At her request, there will not be a viewing or service

and she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Bill, in Ligonier Cemetery. The

family is being served by the Snyder-Green Funeral Home, Ligonier.
