Elizabeth "Toots" Campbell

Elizabeth "Toots" Campbell,  age 92, a compassionate and family-oriented individual, passed away on February 26, 2024  in Ligonier, PA. She was born on August 24, 1931, in Donegal Township. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Macklin "Henry" Campbell who passed away on March 12, 2009. Daughter of the late Denny and Ida (Hood) Burns. Loving mother of Karen (late Donald) Little and Darwin (Renee) Campbell. Beloved grandmother of Jennifer (Kristopher) Campbell Wilson, Brett Little, Brandon (Chayce) Campbell. Great-grandmother of Eryk and Frankie Little  and Declan Campbell. Elizabeth also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Known for her nurturing spirit, Elizabeth was a beloved mother to many she adopted and welcomed into her heart over the years. Her kind nature and generosity touched the lives of countless individuals.

A woman of faith and community involvement, Elizabeth was a member of Stahlstown Trinity United Methodist Church and actively volunteered as a driver for Ridge Meals On Wheels. She was known for her participation in the Flax Scutching Festival in Stahlstown and as part of the 49ers club class of Ligonier Valley 1949. Notably, she was an enthusiastic member of Trinity United Methodist Women's Club. In addition to her community involvement, Elizabeth had a passion for cooking and was renowned for her delectable cookies. An avid Pittsburgh sports fan, she attended many sporting games and especially adored Franco Harris and Willie Stargell.

 The services to honor Elizabeth's life will be held at Snyder-Green Funeral Home located at 402 E Church St., Ligonier, PA 15658. Visitation will take place on March 1st from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be on March 2nd at 11:00 AM. Elizabeth "Toots" Campbell's legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the honor of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
