Gloria Jean Crook, age 78, of Ligonier, peacefully passed away on December 1, 2023. She was born on April 29, 1945, in Florida. Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Crook and the cherished daughter of the late Marc and Evelyn (Garrett) Tittle.
She was also a loving mother to Kimberly Lewis and the late Stephanie Babbitt. Gloria adored her grandchildren Joshua Kitchen, Andrew (Mikayla) Estrada, Mercedes (Dereck) Grant-Estrada, and Logan Babbitt. She was a proud great grandmother to Carter, Zoey, Dakoda, as well as Justin and Timothy who preceded her in death.
Gloria's hobbies included attending garage sales, serving as a Moose Bartender at Cal-Ridge Moose Lodge, engaging in ceramics, and tending to her flower garden. She found great joy in these activities and brought happiness to those around her.
In addition to her hobbies, Gloria had a passion for volunteer work. She generously donated her time and resources to numerous charitable organizations throughout her life. Her dedication to helping others made a positive impact on the lives of many.
Gloria will always be remembered for her love and dedication to her family, animals, and various interests.
In honor of Gloria's memory and in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to Memorial Contributions to Action for Animals located in Derry, PA. These contributions will continue Gloria's legacy of supporting causes dear to her heart.
Gloria Jean Crook will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, compassion, and zest for life will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace knowing she made a difference in the world through her selfless acts and unwavering love for those around her.
