OBITUARY FOR LUCILLE M.V. FIORINA-JACOBY

Lucille Fiorina Jacoby, 85 of Ligonier.PA , peacefully passed away and left this Earth to join her heavenly Father on September 16, 2025 at the UPMC East Hospital.

Lucille was born on January 30, 1940 in Latrobe, PA.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Joseph Fiorina and Theresa (Vesco) Fiorina and a brother Louis (Janice) Fiorina.

Lucille was a devoted Catholic and an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church including past positions of Lector and President of the Parish Council.

Lucille graduated with a Fine Arts Degree from Seton Hill College and taught art in high school for several years. She was also a gifted portrait artist. In her youth she studied painting under Lucielle Banks at the Arts League in Rector, PA.

For over fifteen years Lucille was a devoted, caring and loving caregiver to her beloved mother Theresa.

Lucille is survived by her brothers Victor Fiorina and Albert (Eileen) Fiorina both of Ligonier, PA, and four nephews, Christian, Julian (Kara), Gavin (Jenna), Travis (Molly) and one grandnephew Luca, and the many cousins from the Sampo, Vesco, Zimmerman and Baloga families.

Lucille's family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at the Loyalhanna Care Center, Latrobe, PA. for taking such great and loving care of Lucille over the past three years.

As to the wishes of the family there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 342 W. Main Street, Ligonier, PA 15658 at a time and date to be announced.
