Lugene Horner

Lugene L. Horner, age 67, Of Ligonier, PA peacefully passed away surrounded by family on March 13th 2024 . Lugene was born on August 1, 1956, in Johnstown, PA. She was known not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her loving and kind personality. Loving wife of David Horner. 
She is preceded in death by her parents Logan and Florence (Henderson) Decker, late brother Terry Decker and late son Timothy Horner. Lugene was also the sister-in-law of the late Tom Horner.
 
Lugene Horner will be dearly missed by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her beloved daughter Traci (Jeffrey) Bee; cherished grandchildren Treyson Sutton, William Bee and Kiya Bee; beloved sister of Janice Decker; as well as her cherished relatives Tracey (Effie) Horner, Terry (Barbara) Horner, Nikki (Richard) Piantine, and Debbie (Frank) Airgood.
 
Having been the valedictorian of her high school class at Laurel Valley High School in 1974, Lugene embarked on a successful career path that touched the lives of many individuals through her financial expertise. She was a devoted Financial Advisor who dedicated her career to The Advisor Group, has sadly passed away at the age of 67 in Latrobe, PA.
 
In her leisure time, Lugene found joy in various hobbies and interests such as being a member of the Eastern Star and The Christian Church of Waterford. She had a passion for camping, spending quality time with her grandchildren, and cheering for the Steelers.
 
A viewing will be held at the Snyder-Green Funeral Home in Ligonier on March 17th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place at the same location on March 18th at 11:00 AM followed by interment.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lugene’s name to American Diabetes Association. 
Lugene Horner's legacy of kindness, dedication to her work, and love for her family will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
