Matilda Martelli Gallo

Matilda Martelli Gallo of Ligonier passed away on September 14, 2022. A daughter of Frank Martelli and Jennie (Bovi) Martelli, she was born in Latrobe on March 2, 1921. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Gallo, and together they owned and managed Ligonier Valley Beach until 1997. She was a homemaker, artist, and wordsmith, and mother three children: Marcia Stoner of Broomfield, Colorado, Cordelia Lindsay of Ligonier, and Thomas Gallo, Jr. of Long Beach, California. She is also survived by three granddaughters: Sarah George, Annie Lindsay, and Emily Lindsay, and three great-grandsons.

There will be no visitation.
