Randolph A. Swisher

Randolph A. Swisher, 73, of White, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026.Randolph was born on June 26, 1953, in York, Pennsylvania. Music was important to him, and he especially loved collecting records at thrift stores and flea markets. He also enjoyed working with his hands, building rock walls and rock pathways that reflected his care, patience, and creativity. Randolph was a Navy veteran. He served on the USS Mount Whitney and spent time at the Naval base in Iceland. His military service will be remembered with gratitude. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia B. Swisher. He also leaves behind his sons, Nicholas Allan Swisher and Nicholas's wife, Alice Davis, of Queens, New York, and Alexander Swisher and Alexander’s partner, Jane Davis, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Randolph was also the proud grandfather of Sadie and Owen Swisher. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Donald B. and Edith M. Swisher, and an infant daughter. To honor Randolph's wishes, there will be no viewing, and services will be held privately for the family. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
