The family of Rhonda May (Bickerstaff) Schultz, 64, of New Florence, PA, regrets to announce the passing of their beloved wife, mother and grandmother on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Westmoreland Hospital.
Rhonda peacefully joined the Lord surrounded by family, after a strenuous battle since March of this year.
Born on December 18,1960, daughter of the late Edward and Myrtle (Nora) Helman Bickerstaff of Jeannette, PA.
She was a graduate of Hempfield High School class of 1979.
Rhonda was a proud Air Force military spouse, cake decorator, barista at the former Abigail's Coffee House and kitchen director of the previous Holy Trinity Catholic School, in addition to serving her community’s youth group program at Covenant Presbyterian Church as her children grew up. She loved to crochet, read, cook, play spades, watch baseball, visit the casino, and do crafts with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband Edward of 43 years; three children Amanda (Brandon) Behie of Bluffton, SC, Robert (Cortney) Schultz of Yelm, WA, and Andrew Schultz of New Florence,PA; seven grandchildren, all of which brought so much joy to her life, Elaina (Bailey) Kimmel, Tanner and Emma Behie, and Cherish, Micah and Norah Schultz; three brothers, Randy (Lori), Russell (Carol) and Ralph (Coleen) Bickerstaff and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends and Family will be received at Snyder-Green funeral home in Ligonier, PA, on Friday November 28, from 2-4 and 6-8. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 29, at 12:30 pm, with close family friend, Larry Hendrick officiating, and procession to Ligonier Valley Cemetery following the service.
