Shirley A. Willard, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on October 24, 1946, in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, Shirley’s life was a testament to the beauty of kindness, generosity, and humor.

She was a selfless and considerate soul who spread joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Shirley had a charming sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest days. Her spirit shone brightest in her cherished moments spent with family and friends, and her love for her dog, Vinnie, brought her endless joy. She reveled in quality family time, which she held dear throughout her life, and these memories will forever be treasured by her loved ones.

Shirley often shared unforgettable experiences with her late husband, Joseph A. Willard, on their trips to the vibrant casinos of Las Vegas. She also had a passion for traveling, which allowed her to create memories that would last a lifetime. Her philanthropic heart was evident in her proudest accomplishments, including generous donations to the ASPCA and St. Jude Children's Hospital, showcasing her unwavering love for animals and children alike.

Shirley is survived by her loving sons, Joseph (Nicole) Willard, and Scott (Jessie) Willard, along with her cherished grandchildren, Meredith Willard, Madelyn Willard, Aiden Fedell, and Leila Willard. She also leaves behind her sister, Audrey (Dale) Gourley and many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Willard, Shirley now joins her late father, Robert E. Queer, her mother, Anna M. (Massimo) Queer, and her brothers, Robert E. (surviving Linda) Queer Jr. and Donald Queer. Their memories will comfort her family as they navigate this profound loss.

A memorial service to celebrate Shirley's remarkable life will be planned in the near future, allowing family and friends to come together to reflect on the blessings she brought into their lives.
