Susan Ransel McBroom

Susan Ransel McBroom, born on December 8, 1953, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026.

She is survived by her loving husband Clifford McBroom, beloved daughter Rachel Obrowski, cherished granddaughter Hannah Sikora with Anthony Marbella, and her beloved miniature Australian Shepherd named "Livie".

Professionally, Susan owned and managed Stone House Antiques, a testament to her eye for beauty and her passion for bringing history to life. Her advertising and promotional business, Foxwood & Associates, showcased her creativity and ingenuity, with graphics, marketing, promotional materials, special events and print advertising. She dedicated over 20 years to the management of Baywood Homeowners Association in Ligonier. In 2013 Susan began a successful career as a real estate agent at Loyalhanna Realty, where she made a meaningful impact in her community. She was known for her dedication and commitment to her clients, which earned her great respect within the industry.

In addition to her professional achievements, Susan was a knowledgeable antique collector and was an active participant in the Rolling Rock Hunt, a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. She dedicated her time and energy to the noble art of dog training, where she found joy in nurturing and honing the skills of her furry companions. Special gratitude for her companion care giver Bobbi Jo Bales, and the dedicated personnel from Bethlan Hospice and Westmoreland Hospital ICU step down, whose compassion and support during her final days will always be remembered.

Susan Ransel McBroom's memory will live on through the lives she touched, both personally and professionally, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
