Thomas W. Riggle, 82, of Ligonier, formerly of Reinholds passed away peacefully August 6th, 2025 at Life's Promise Personal Care Home. Born June 24, 1943, he was the son of the late D. Glenn and Dora E. (Graham) Riggle, and the husband of nearly 63 years to Audrey J. (Kallmann) Riggle.
Tom graduated from Ligonier Valley High School in 1961 and went on to build a distinguished 40-year career with AT&T, beginning as a lineman and working his way up to Supervisor. Known for his steadfast dedication and loyalty, he took pride in every role he held. Beyond work, Tom's quick wit and warm humor made him the center of any gathering. He loved a good poker game, especially five-card stud, enjoyed classic country music, and was a passionate fan of the Eagles, Phillies, and WWE. A lifelong racecar enthusiast, Tom even took his turn behind the wheel of a purple Studebaker at Jennerstown Speedway back in the day, a memory he cherished and loved to share.
In addition to his devoted wife, Audrey, he is survived by his son, Timothy W. (Linda) Riggle of Hellam, PA; granddaughter, Delaina A. (Trey) Beaman; special niece whom Tom considered a daughter, Martha Jane Sleasman; sister, Sue (Joe) Moser of Hagerstown, MD; cousins, Sally Wecksler of Ligonier and Richard Strong of Erie; sister-in-law, Karen A. Cole; seven step grandchildren and thier familes, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Todd Riggle; and daughter-in-law, Kelly Riggle.
